Oh I am so sorry to hear this. Delilah was so wonderful to me and such a great help. I have Evans ancestors, but we never found a connection between our families. Still she was willing to help me with my research. She even ordered a large picture of the grave where my Grand uncle was buried in France during WWI and then she sent it to me. When I offered to pay, she said no, he had done enough for our country and she wanted to honor him. What a lady!!! Thank you for sharing this. Delilah Evans was a tremendous help with my Evans research and research in general. Never found a connection, but that didn't matter. She is what I strive to be in a researcher, give help where needed. She will be truly missed. Thank you for sharing this. Thank you so much for letting us know about this. Delilah was so good to include so many bits of information and pass them on to anyone who had interest. I hope someone will be able to continue her work-hopefully all of us together can keep some of her legacy moving forward as we try to gather family information. RIP Delilah.
