    3. As a starter, here is a list of Allchin variations that I have noticed so far... >From a surname dictionary... ALLCORN, ALCHORN, ALCHORNE, ALLCHORN, ALLCHORNE ALCHEN, ALCHIN, ALCHIN are listed by Reaney & Wilson* under ALCORN. There is a cross-reference to OLDCORN(E) >From my own research (and that of others) the ORCHIN surname appears to be a variant spelling used by the family of Henry ORCHIN, b c1790 in Middlesex. Is there anyone else with an ALLCHIN-ORCHIN link?
