Thank You Pat, I found out today that Higgins Cemtery, is actually in Limestone County, although I haven't found the exact location yet. I think this Cemetery, has some Lauderdale County Folks buried in it, so I will be doing a survey, when I come to Lauderdale in Dec., and Jan. I am not looking for Higgins, just the Higgins Cemetery. Example of people buried there. William Henry Rose 1900-1996 and member of his family Possibly his parents, Ingram Rose born Feb 13, 1876 died Dec 15, 1971 and wife, Sarah A. Richardson Rose, born September 17, 1879 died July 15, 1971. Sarah was the daughter of Henry Poindexter Richardson born August 27, 1853 died Jan 1932. Henry Poindexter Richardson was the son of James Cecil Richardson and Mary Ann Angelina Pettus. So as you can see, this Higgins Cemetery, could be full of interesting information for us all. Hi, all, The Higgins Cemetery is located in Limestone Co. AL., as is the Temperance Oak Cemetery. They are close together. The Ingram Rose and wife Sally are buried in the Temperance Oak Cemetery. not the Higgins. But some of the Roses are in the Higgins Cem. The Temperence Oak Cem. is on Temperence Oak Rd. Across from the Ole Church Building. The Higgins Cemetery is located in the Cedar Grove community near,(almost on) the Lauderdale Co. line. There is a cemetery book that lists most of the cemeteries in Limestone Co. AL. It was printed in 1993 and about all the country roads have been renamed. We would need to find an updated map of Limestone Co. AL. Hope some of this will be of some help to you. Oh,oh I almost forgot, My husband's mother was a Rose before she married.
