    3. >From the FLORENCE GAZETTE - (Lauderdale County, AL) Wednesday, December 4, 1861 "DIED - In this place on Saturday, the 30th day, SALLIE "JACKSON, daughter of MR. and MRS. JAMES JACKSON. "Again the hand of providence has been laid upon this "already afflicted family and removed from the social circle "another beautiful and lovely daughter. Twice, now, has "the monster Death visited that family in the past ten days "claimed each time for his victim, a lovely and promising "daughter. "On Tuesday morning, the third visit at the residence of "her father in Franklin county, LIZZIE, the daughter of "MR. and MRS. GEO. M. JACKSON. NOTE: The girls are buried in the JACKSON CEMETERY, Lauderdale County, AL. Mary Steele Jackson, another daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Jackson, had died a few days before Sallie.
