From the FLORENCE GAZETTE (Lauderdale Co, AL) Wednesday, June 19, 1861 The undersigned, Officers and Privates of the "Calhoun Guards", of Centre Star, Alabama, hereby agree to volunteer their services for, and during the term of the war, now existing between the United States and the Confederate States of America.
