The McClain's I am looking for are a John McClain who was a Justice Of The Peace there in Lauderdale Co., at least from 1853-1872. Then there is a John McClain and wife, Shotzy or Shorty, I don't know if it is the same John and thought maybe the book would tell. Then a Wilson McClain who married a Mattie Rayburn in 1880. Anything on any of these people would help,, even Mattie Rayburn. I can't find who her people were either.
