This is a periodic posting for information..... I am seeking any descendants of William King Whitehead, who was born in Lauderdale County, AL on October 6, 1819. He married Nancy Elimira Grant, daughter of Thomas and Sarah Grant. William and Nancy's child was Henry Whitehead who was born about 1841 in the same county. I have been told that he dies of TB. I do not know if there were any other children. I am actually seeking anyone who might have information regarding Thomas or Sarah Glover Grant. Thomas was my gggrandfather and history seems to cease prior to 1815, where he is was first noted in the Maury County, TN Records in 1815. I am looking at other avenues where someone might have found some personal records regarding his past. If William and Nancy had no other children, the search via the Whitehead family ends.
