Does anyone know the maiden name of Mary Qualls, listed as wife of David C. Qualls in the 1900 Lauderdale County, Alabama census? And is anyone researching Linsey Cherry who was married to Lena Burrows Lard? I'm looking for Linsey Cherry's mother's name. She is said to have died in Jackson County, TN when he was a very young child. Her first name was supposedly Ruth. Mary Qualls was Linsey Cherry's first wife's (Margaret) sister, per Civil War pension application papers. Does anyone know if there are records of burials at Waite Cemetary and if so how early did they start? Linsey Cherry is buried at Shiloh Military Park Cemetary, but I have been told he was first buried at Waite and then exhumed and taken to Shiloh. I'm not sure if this is fact.
