I couldn't believe that this could still be seen !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can anyone tell me which old cemetery is at Waterloo, Alabama just on the edge of the water almost directly between the 1st base dugout at the baseball field and the water in the lake (2nd Creek) ? This would also be almost straight from the Community Center to the water in the lake. This is the area where the park was many years ago. At one time, one could camp there but not any longer. A friend had told me that when the water is low that you can see where graves were. I could not believe it today, when I visited and found at least 15 triangles on the gravel bar and into the bank of the lake. Some of the graves are small as graves of children would be. Is this one of the cemeteries that was moved when the land was flooded ? Maybe the Witherspoon or Bumpas Graveyard ? Has anyone seen this ?
