Trecia, I am sending you this message hoping you might know something about H. Griffin. Thomas Polk and son John below came to Hardin Co. in the 1820's and 30's respectively. Below are listed some of the children of Thomas Polk 1797-ca 1850's, and his first wife. The children were born in either Anson Co. NC or Lancaster Co. SC. These were adjoining counties. 1. Mary W. Polk born Jan. 15, 1810 married H. Griffin Oct. 8, 1833 2. Catherine W. Polk born Jan. 29, 1812 3. Kissey Polk born Feb. 13, 1815 4.
