    3. >From THE FLORENCE HERALD - Thursday, March 17, 1892: DEATHS ------------------------ MRS. N. T. HUGHES At the residence of her father, Mr. W. M. FUSSELL, in this city, on last Wednesday, Mrs. N. T. HUGHES passed through the dark valley. Mrs. HUGHES, with her husband and daughter, had just returned from Texas, where they had been living for some time. The change of scene and climate wa of but little benefit to her, consumption having fastened its grasp upon her, and she passed away among the friends of her childhood in the city of her birth. ********* J. J. BELUE Mr. J. J. BELUE died at his home near Covington, Sunday, March 6th, of typhoid-pneumonia. Mr. BELUE was about 25 years old, and was a popular citizen of that section. His wife survives him.
