Good Morning All, It's been so quiet on this list that I decided we need to do something before all of us start planting gardens, working in the yard, etc. How about posting your Lauderdale Co AL 'brick walls' - Those ancestors that you know are in Lauderdale, but you can't seem to find anything on them. Send all the information you have on them. It's just possible that someone on the list has them in their files, but doesn't work on that particular family. The 1850 census of Lauderdale shows: Isreal, Polly age 30 born Ala Lewis age 10 born Ala George age 5 born Ala. In 1860 George Ezell is living in Hardin Co., Tn. with the family of Daniel Hitchcock. Older families members said that George Ezell had an "uncle" named Dan Hitchcock. Who was Polly "Isreal"? Was she connected to the Hitchcock family? Sandy
