    1. [ALLAUDER] 1916-1926 Quadrangle Maps of Lauderdale County Alabama
    2. Edgar D. Byler, III
    3. For many years now, I've had in my possession four quadrangle maps of the Shoals area which date from 1916 through 1926. These maps are the regular 1/62500 scale quad maps and the quads are the same as those today. I've decided to part with them and have listed the maps on eBay. I wanted to let you all know in case some of you might be interested. The maps are particularly interesting for the historian and genealogist alike since they show the Tennessee River as it was BEFORE the dams were built. If you are interested in these maps, the listings are as follows Tuscumbia Quad http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3708637519 Muscle Shoals Quad http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3708659582 Rogersville Quad http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3708660200 Gravelly Springs Quad http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3708660513 I regret that the photographs I made of the maps did not come out. I also have several books listed on eBay that might be of interest to Lauderdale County, AL researchers. Please go to one of the above links and then click on "View seller's other items" for the listings of the books, particularly 1. "Cole Connections" by J. Frank Tate and Betty Willerton 2. "The Fields Family History" by Yvonne Fields Porter 3. "6173 Descendants of Ambrose Holt 1773-1866" by Thomas and Emanola Holt. 4. "Sweetwater, The Story of East Florence 1818-1940" by William L. McDonald and L. C. Staggs. 5. "I'm From Lexington" by the Lexington Alabama 89 committee Happy hunting. Edgar Edgar D.
