COBURN, POLK, WEISNER---Looking for information on decendents of Francis COBURN and Dicey POLK both born in Noth Carolina , married about 1818 and moved to Tennesee or Alabama at that time. Francis remaried in Lauderdale Alabama 7 Aug 1825 to Elizabeth WIESNER. I find a Francis COBURN on the 1830 Censu Index for Lauderdale Co. AL and the 1840 Census Index for Hardeman Co., TN. He shows three more times; on the 1850, 1860, and 1870 Census for Fayette County, TN. He (age 57) now is listed ( 1850 Census) with Elizabeth 44; Henery 17; Hedly 15; Nancy J. 9; Francinia 9/12. I believe this Francis Coburn and the one maried to Dicey POLK to be the same. I believe he had at least one and possibly three children with Dicey Polk. before the marriage to Elaizabeth WIESNER Dicey POLK either died, or they divorced prior to this marriage. I need to find proof of the children of this marriage
