Moses, Eli and Drury JOINER are brothers and were in Lauderdale Co. at least by 1817. Moses had the following family with his wife, Lydia. (Male) b. about 1827. Moses married Lydia around 1826 and possibly had the following children: Benjamin b. about 1828. Delilah b. bet. 1825 and 1830. Mary Ann b. 10 Nov 1833, married Levi JONES 1855. She died 1900. Charles b. about 1837, married Elizabeth BEAVER. Souseanah b. about 1839. Drury b. about 1845. Any information about any of the above would be forever appreciated.

Married in Mobile, AL to Elizabeth Chambliss, 1864 Lived most of his life near Iuka, MS, He had 5 sons and one daughter, Etta, who married a Hargett. January 22, 1897 Kaufman Co. TX) October 27, 1823 at Florience AL Lauderdale Co. by Rev. David Lancaster. Witnesses: John N.P. Harder and Sally Lindsey. John was Henrietta's brother and Sally was probably Josiah's sister. John and Sally also married in Lauderdale Co. after Josiah and Henrietta. They also moved with the Lindsey's when they went to Itawamba MS and Kaufman Co. TX. 2. Nancy Caroline TAYLOR (b. June 1842 TN/AL d. June 7, 1911 AL) married Solomon Dyer September 23 1859 Lauderdale Co. AL by W.T. Hawkins, PJ. In 1870 they are in Giles Co. TN. By 1900, Solomon has died and Nancy is back in Lauderdale Co. Poplar Springs Dist.(does anyone know where this is?). I am also lookling for the marriage of my g-grandparents, George A. Dyer and Gillie LINDSEY. They married sometime between 1890-1895. I have searched through out the known possibilities within TX and found nothing. I do know that Lindsey's stayed in Lauderdale Co. when Josiah left, so there is a good chance that Gillie may have been in the area visisting when she met George.
