Pat, Would you mind posting the URL for your web page? Thanks, C. J. Bryan
Sorry folks, this is the last message I'll junk your mailbox with. Rootsweb has been contacted and I made one more adjustment to the ALLAUDER Utility page. I hope this corrects the Tagline problem. Troy
Please do not respond to this message. Rootsweb allows taglines at the end of every message sent through the list. As of late the Lauderdale county list has not been getting them. I also allow for commercial taglines from Rootsweb. These are for promotional purposes of Rootsweb. All a tagline is is the Address of the Lauderdale County website and My own Unknown County Query page. I hope the tagline will be attached to the end of this message. If so then problem fixed. Troy

Ruby, In your message of 5/8/00 you mentioned a Stewart married a Herman. Do you have info on the Herman's? Nancy Jane Herman, b: 1831, was my g,g-grandmother. I don't have complete info on the family, but they moved to Hopkins County from Lauderdale County in the mid-to-late 1800's. My great grandmother, Sarah Elizabeth Jackson , died here in 1911. I would appreciate any information you might have. I have names of most family members and some dates, if they are needed. Stephen Herman->James Herman->Nancy Jane Herman->Sarah Elizabeth Jackson->David Franklin Butler. Quentin Morris, Hopkins Co., Texas
Thomas Mason married Frances Foster 1807 in Lunenburg Co. VA and they had the following children: Thomas, William, Martha, Frances and Lucy Ann Mason. Following Thomas Mason's death, Frances, along with daughters Martha, Frances and Lucy Ann moved to Lauderdale Co. SC. The daughters of Frances and Thomas Mason married the following: 1. Frances Mason married James B. Price Dec. 25, 1828, Lauderdale Co. AL. 2. Martha Mason married William Price Nov. 20, 1828, Lauderdale Co. AL 3. Lucy Ann Mason married Elias Micajah Fort Sept. 2, 1835, Lauderdale Co. AL Then, we find Frances Mason, with her daughter Lucy Ann and son-in-law Elias M. Fort in Haywood Co. Tn where they are purchasing land, along with my ggrandfather Thomas Mason. If anyone is researching this family, I sure would love to visit with you. I am also trying to locate the cemetery where Frances Mason, Lucy Ann and Elias Fort were buried in TN. It is my understanding that Lucy Ann and Elias both died in McNairy County TN. Thanks, Carolyn Anderson cca44@aol.com

Hello, I am planning a trip to Alabama this fall. I am wondering if there are any old church records and if so, where they are housed. My family lived around the Waterloo and Gravely Springs area. If someone has information on the old church records, will you please share them with me. Thanks, Modene Knight Thornton Freestone County Texas
