Does anyone have any information on Thomas Akers and Ashael Akers in Lauderdale County, Alabama in 1818. Thomas was listed on the 1820 census for Lauderdale Co. as head of household. But, I have found no enumeration on this. Is there a state or federal census other than the "lost" census of 1820. Ashael was not listed. Thomas married Patsy Hamm in 1820. I find no further info on him. Ashael was listed as head of household in 1830 and died in 1837. Any information on either of these two men is deeply appreciated. I noticed in the phone book that there are still Akers families in Florence. I would like to correspond with some of these people. The possibly exists that they are descendents of one of these two men. Thanks.
Does anyone have info on Celia Akers that married Robert Caughman (transcribed marriages records on line) or possibly Cunningham (family info). Her brother Alfred Harison Akers married Nancy Coffman daughter of David Harmon Coffman. Both Alfred and Nancy are buried in the Anderson Cemetery in Anderson. Any info on Celia's family is deeply appreciated.

The Wilson relatives that I have are J. R. and Drusilla Wilson. Drusilla gave birth to my great grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Wilson on 17 Aug 1856 near Florence in Lauderdale Co., AL. Mary Elizabeth married Thomas R. Kimbrough on 26 Nov. 1874 in Hardeman Co., TN. I would love to track down J. R. and Drusilla. I do not know what "JR" stands for. A. Quinn MRSQ1214@aol.com
Hello Lauderdale County Researchers! Please help! I'm trying to find out about some Wilson and Phillpis relatives. First, I'm looking for any info on the children of Robert "Robin" Wilson. He was the son of Robert Wilson. I believe he had at least four children. I'm most interested in one of his daughters - S. Evaline Wilson. Robin was married to Druscilla Barnett, and they are buried in the Barnett Cemetery close to at least one of their children; son Ben F. I am also interested in him. Also, I'm looking for info on Mary Jane Phillips, daughter of Wilson Phillips, and wife of Samuel Ellison. I'm especially looking for a family picture of all of Wilson Phillips' children and thier spouses. I'd like to have a copy of it, and learn more about this woman and her husband. Thanks for all your help. Sincerely, Tracy Littrell Williams
