William Page lived in Lamar County from about 1868 to his death in 1908. From distant cousins that have visited the gravesite, I know that he is buried on a farm a couple of miles from Crews. AL. The graves (three) are in the yard of the farmer; I believe the graves would be for William, his second wife, Martha and possible his Mother Susan Page. Does anyone know the exact location of the graves? If so, would you please send me directions and the name of the present owner of the farm on which the graves are located. I am interested in contacting any descendants of William. His son from his first marriage, John Calhoun Page, is my G Grandfather. William and Martha Webb's children were: Josephine(m.J.P. Weeks), John Davis Wortham Page (m.Elizabeth Lindley) , Mary Elizabeth (Betty) (m. William A. Flinn) and Nancy (Nan) (m. Reese). Wm was born in Pickens County, AL, lived in Monroe County, MS and Lamar Co, AL. His Mother's name was Susan (Ritchie). His father is not known may have been named John. Need proof. Wm had a cousin named John M. Tillotson, and was a nephew of Eleanor Ritchie Castleberry who was married to Martin Castleberry. Eleanor, Susan and another sister named Mary; were all born in SC.
