I am still researching the descendants of Charner J and Elizabeth Wolstenholme Colvin. Charner came from Chester Co SC to Greene Co AL and then to Lamar Co. Charner b 25 Sep 1824 in Chester Co SC and Elizabeth b, Jan 1827 in AL. They are buried in an old cemetery near Asbury Methodist Church. Their son, Joe Sephus or Joseph married Mittie S; Joseph died 1953 and Mittie, 1929 and both are buried in Asbury Methodist Church Cemetery. My husband is descended thru their son Willie Charner and Lena Mordecai. Willie had brothers: Audie, Cheslie, Hunter L, Ernest, and sister, Mary. Lena's parents are Tom Mordecai and Jerusha Stacy. I would be so grateful to hear from anyone having information and willing to share it on any branch of this family.
