She was born 1815 in Tenn.[Parents unknown at this time] For what this is worth, here may be some clues to Elizabeth Kennamer. About 1830, my Custers and Keowns lived in Franklin Co, Tenn. Michael Custer's (and Rebecca Jones, mother) had a daughter, Mary Jane born in Tn Feb 8, 1818, who married Thomas Jefferson Mitchell on Dec 8, 1831, and Mary Jane died July 23, 1908 in Jackson Co, Ala. Children who lived to maturity, all born in Warren Co, Tn except the youngest: Michael T Mitchell who was born in Jackson Co, Ala April 29, 1843 who mar Eliz J. Swain-----Jonathan Wooton Mitchell b Jan 11, 1845---Nancy Elizabeth Micthell Nov 20, 1848, Died Oct 31, 1898 married Seaborn F. Kennamer son of Jacob and Kezziah (Busby) Kennamer, on April 8, 1869 and died in Marshall Co, Ala. The children of this Kennamer marriage: Thomas Jacob Kennamer b 1870, Mary Elizabeth b 1872, Charles Brents Kennamer 1874, Damaris Barton Kennamer (Noel) 1876, Franklin Elmore K. b 1879, Martha Kezziah K b 1883, mar a Smith, John Shepard K b 1885 and David Wendell Kennamer b 1888, and Samuel Rexford Kennamer b 1890. Sallie West Mitchell, sister to Mary Jane, married a brother to Seaborne Kennamer, named Jacob L. Kennamer. on Dec 25, 1836 and she died Dec 17, 1940 at Woodville, Ala.Their children were born in Marshall Co, Ala. Willard Clifton K, Omer Adrum K, Lota Larimore K, Granville Denton K, and Carrie May Kennamer.
