When my father passed away in Jan., 1999, among some of the things he left to me was a ledger kept by his grandfather, Wm. Buck Cantrell. In this ledger Wm. Buck Cantrell listed his own date of birth as well as his wife's, Emily Wood, and also their date of marriage. The births and marriages of the children of Wm. Buck Cantrell/Emily Wood are listed as well as their grandchildren. Unfortunately, some of them are listed by initials only and I need help with the full names. Dad added dates to this ledger as he had information about marriages/deaths. I know that at least four of Wm. Buck Cantrell's 7 daughters lived in Monroe Co., MS., one lived in Lamar County, my grandparents lived at Brilliant in Marion Co., and the Mathes family lived at Empire in Walker Co., AL.
