Our group wishes to extend and invitation to all of our good friend and neighbors to join us for our meetings on the second Monday night of each month.You do not have to be a member to attend.We have LINKS in all the surrounding counties and across the nation.At one time or another we shared territory with all of you.And our history is entwined.So it is nice to visit one another and talk about our hertiage..So make plans to attend the January 14th meeting and get aquainted.We extend our wishes for a great New Year to all of our sister county organizations.They are all striving hard to preserve and share the heritage of our area.Thanks to all of the site owners for their support and hard work to put information at our fingertips.Don't be shy,start posting your lineage and queries on your county sites.And do reply if you see something that you can help with or know of someone who might be of help. Support you favorite Society with a membership.The fees go for the publishing of their newletter,postage and to buy books.Those with a historical connection are marking unmarked cemeteries and historical places as well as other related projects.And partners with their library to house and preserve records and books for research durning regular library hours.
