AL) --CHILDREN-- 1-Augustus Gustavius STRICKLAND (b. abt. Aug. 1827, moved to Cass Co. TX, married Melissa Catherina Griffis) 2-Wesley B. STRICKLAND (b. Jan. 27, 1829, married Harriett Temple, d. May 7, 1915 in Lodi, OK) 3-James N. STRICKLAND-apparently died young 4-Polly STRICKLAND-apparently died young 5-STRICKLAND-unknown, probably died young 6-Susan STRICKLAND-(b. abt. 1836; may have married a Taylor) 7-Pennina STRICKLAND-(b. abt. 1838, married a Moore) 8-Mary Angeline STRICKLAND-(b. abt. Nov. 1840, married a Mr. Collins, moved to Greene Co. AR) 9-Bethina Ann STRICKLAND - (b. April, 1843, married Oliver Berryman Nabors, died in Wise Co. TX) 10-Jasper Newton STRICKLAND-(b. June, 1846, married Savannah McDaniel, died 1929 probably in OK) Obediah and his wife Mary and their children moved to Jones/Sanford/ Lamar Co. from Pickens Co. AL between 1866 and 1870. They died in Lamar Co. AL and were buried in their yard. Both Wesley and Jasper separated or divorced from their wives; Wesley's wife Harriett apparently stayed in Lamar Co. All the rest of the children left Lamar Co. Does anyone have any information on any of these families? I have a great deal of information on Obediah's and Mary's ancestors, but I am having trouble identifyng all of their grandchildren. Thanks. Carla Tate
