I need help in locating the the marriage record of John E. Russell of Blount Co. to Delia Jane Campbell of Jefferson Co. in late 1914 or 1915. John was 19 years old and Delia would have been 26. John would have been underage and would have needed his parents signature.(?) Is there somewhere in or around Alabama where he would not have needed a signature? I've checked the Blount and Jefferson Co. marriage records but have been unable to locate the marriage record. In birth records of Blount Co. the first child (John Carlos) was born in October and the recorder indicated (legitimate). I would assume the were married before Oct. of 1915.
