I had posted a query several weeks ago about George Wilson REESE, DDS. I sent $10 for an AL death certificate and received back "A Failure to Find Certificate" My question is this: do the vital records people only search Jefferson Co, or do they try surrounding counties. Dr. Reese was suppose to have practiced in Birmingham, but could he have had his home in a surrounding county and what would those counties be? Were there medical/dental licenses then? Any suggestions to get this man connected to his father? Can anybody do a census lookup for me for 1900, 1910 and possibly best 1920. His wife was Katherine WILEY and his son was Eldridge REESE who went to a Tenessee military school and would not have been at home during the 1920 census. I appreciate any help and/or lookups.
