Hi, I am coming to Birmingham Oct 31st and will be staying 7-10 days to of research in the downtown genealogy library. Does anyone know if there is an extended stay motel there that you can recommend? I will be arriving in my car but I would be alone and need a place that is convenient to the library, in a safe location, and clean. I understand that the downtown library is the best place to do research is that true? I am not in AL so any help would be appreciated. Thank you. Sherry
