My g-grandfather George Hampton Cole (b. 1811 SC) married Caroline JOHNSON (b. 1827 AL) (d/o Matthew & Sarah Bentley Johnson) in Pinson, Jefferson Co., AL in 1847. They had 13 children. George was a farmer & Justice of the Peace there, his mother may have been named Jane. I have no other names for possible parents/siblings of George. Caroline's siblings married into the families of BUSH, SELF & KILOUGH. George & Caroline's children married CHAMBLEE, FRANKLIN, MOORE (MOOR), and HIGGENBOTHAM (of Village Springs, Blount Co., AL) I would be very interested in hearing from any one who may have a connection, or be working on any of these surnames in Blount or Jefferson counties.
