My mother married my father James Edward (Happy) Dove and I am the Only child that they had. I was born January 28, 1949 in Birmingham, Ala. My fathers mother was named Nettie Jay, but i have no idea what her maiden name was. she died in 1953 or 1955 and lived in Fairfied, Ala. I don't know anything about my father or his family and am desperate to get any information that i can for medical reasons. think that my fathers father was named Thomas Dove and lived in Fairfield, Ala. until he died.
