Worked in "Red Mountain Mine" was the memory I am trying to trace. Looking at the Mining Department's Annual Report's, I realize that there were many mines on Red Mountain. Was there a particular mine called the "Red Mountain Mine"? Are miners' employment history available from mining companies or mine museums? Some of the miners were relocated to work at one company's various mines. Not sure how this worked. Worked in Jefferson County then transferred to Edgewater and Waylan, Kentucky then back to Alabama and so worth.
