    2. Clark Sinclair
    3. I have kind of an unusual request.... I am trying to find the source or book about Jefferson Co (Methodism?) from Jefferson Co......this source turns out to be extremely important as this page mentions vital information about my line. The person who sent me this page says they did not document from which book this was taken. She thought is was "something about Old Settlers" found in the Birmingham Library. The the top center of the page...says "6"........ in the upper right hand side of the page says "200-A" ....it starts off.....(at the top of the page) "and sheep to Ruhama, above Elyton on the old Georgia dirt road; here they built a substantial blockhouse for securing against roving banks of the remnants of Indians who still remained and hunted in that section." it ends with (last part of page) "resisted their power to cut it with chisels and hammer; powder to blast it out could only be obtained in small quatities by conveyance on pack-horses over the military trail from middle Tennessee, and dynamite was an explosive sub-" I have searched several libraries where I live, but have not found this book...... THANKS in advance to anyone who may help!!! Clark Sinclair Houston
