I was wondering if someone might look up a marriage record for me in Jefferson County. I have done some looking on the internet and local library but I do not have adequate sources to find my relatives. I need the marriage date of: William A. Scott b 1800 TN and Flora Ann Cameron b 1809 GA. They were married about 1829, I think in Jefferson County. William A. Scott was the enumerator of the 1830 census of Jefferson Co AL. He and Flora were already married then, and they are enumerated on the census but they had no children until 1832. William A. Scott was also the sheriff of Jefferson County from 1829-1834. They lived in Elyton at the time, but Flora Ann Cameron's father William Cameron was still living near Talladega. I would appreciate any information you could provide. Mike Golden MGolden603@aol.com
