Phobe, If the streets were named the same as currently, the location would be between Downtown Birmingham and the UAB area. The Southern RR divides North and South and the numbers start there and proceed both north and south. 19th Street runs north and south and is on both sides, so there is a 2nd and 3rd both North and South. The Jefferson County Court House is just east of 19th between 7th and 8th Ave North. The UAB Hospital is on between19th and 20th ST and between 6th and 7th Ave South. Both of the 2nd and 3rds would be between these two, a couple of blocks on either side of the RR. Hope this helps, Melba -----Original Message----- From: Phoenixxph@aol.com <Phoenixxph@aol.com> To: ALJEFFER-L@rootsweb.com <ALJEFFER-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Wednesday, June 14, 2000 8:16 AM Subject: [ALJEFFER] Introduction New Searcher...PHILIPSON >Hello. > >My name is Phoebe and I live in Florida.
