I am new to the list, and I haven't seen too many messages on this list. I am researching the HOPKINS surname. My grandfather was Berry Bryant Hopkins. He lived much of his early years in Irondale. Both my mother and her sister were born there. I have been looking for information on my great grandfather for almost three years now. His name was L. E. Hopkins. The "E" possibly stood for Elmas.
