Hi Jenny, First, thank you so much for your reply and information. The doctor's name on the birth certificate is J. E. Garrison, M.D. I forgot to mention that on my dad's birth certificate, on the section for the father's information, it is written across it "Not Given". That gives the impression that they may not have been married, but I am not sure on that. All I have on my grandfather is a name and anyone in the family that may have known the truth is long since passed on. Do you have the address for the downtown library? Thank you again! Kathy
