Individuals can be looked up by name without your having to know whose lot he/she maybe buried on. Also for older burials, at least through the 1930's, there are books that give wonderful info including cause of death. Contact Don Evans in Family Service there and tell him Carol suggested it. I used to work in Family Service there and often did records checks and made photos of markers for folks all over the country who were researching their families.
