I am indeed confused. The index for Jefferson Co. Al. list wedding of Walter Morgan and Nancy Deaton as July 22, 1819. When I got the copy of this record it says: 'Walter Morgan..... Alabama Territory of the United States...... Blount County' . Where do I go from here to pin point where Walter and Nancy were? Are they in Blount or Jefferson Co.? Would land record, etc. be found in Blount or Jefferson Co? Can anyone help with this puzzle? Mary Russ
