I will be looking for information on my grandfather, Milton Norman Simmons. He was born on July 28, 1892 in Birmingham, Alabama (Jefferson County) and his parents were Milton Simmons and Evelyn Garland. I will be looking for evidence of his birth and any information on his parents that I can find including their marriage, property, divorce, and deaths. Although my grandfather immigrated to Canada in 1917, I would like to look for information that may explain why he left Alabama such as an arrest warrant or economic troubles.
