A rollcall is a very good idea, but PLEASE lets strictly follow a couple of basic rules. First and foremost, PLEASE in the subject line list a surname or two, approximate dates and perhaps (for names like Williams) an area. For Instance: Belcher & Tarrant <1818 <Morris It doesn't have to be exactly like this at all, but please briefly identify your people somehow . This is a fairly large list and a roll call can generate a LOT of mail. Please DON'T use "Roll Call" in the subject line. For a county list, you need to Let people know your lines so they can delete the MANY postings that aren't relevant to them. Also, just as Sheila did, please try to keep the postings fairly short. Again use common sense, but two or most three generations is usually enough. After the rool call you can always add more if asked. These postings are primarily just 'teasers' for finding others also working on your lines. Okay now ... if you're ready ... ROLLCALL ....
