All I have is that my GGGM, Martha A. Cantrel, married James Glass in Jefferson County, AL in 1875. According to the 1880 Census of Jefferson County, she was born in AL about 1861, but her parents were born in GA. In 1880, her brother was living with her and James, but he was born in GA, about 1859/60. (That would mean that the family moved to AL about 1861.) I think the problem is that the surname is spelled Cantrel, Cantrell, Cantwell, and even Canter. Any help would be appreciated. Jim Nix Birmingham, AL --------------911F82770F138C5C91BE9C21--
