For those who are interested, I created as search tool for the BGS website and have placed it on the BGS blog site: http://birminghamgenealogy.wordpress.com Look on the right under "Jefferson County", then click on "Birmingham Genealogical Society website google search engine" Using the search tool you can surnames anywhere in the index - father's surname, mother's maiden name. You can also search for a certain cemetery or burial place.
