Just remember the Jefferson County Sheriffs Dept is on the corner down and across 20th St from the parking lot, also across from them on the other corner is the Birmingham Arts, then across from the sheriff on the same side as the parking deck, is a GREAT place to eat, a little deli/sandwich shop - and go thru the courthouse to the other side and sit in the park, lots of places to eat over there too - carry a whistle in case you need one, lol. And if you want to have a real treat, stay a night in the Tutwiller Hotel, right up on another corner. Always wanted to stay there, also wanted to stay at the Peabody in Memphis, just to see the ducks. I have other things I want to do before my time is up but guess nobody would like to know those. BPL also has a database of miners deaths. Alabama Coal Mine Fatalities, 1898-1938 Alabama Episcopal Church Registers Alabama Inventors Database Obituary Index : Birmingham Area Newspapers Red Mountain Cemetery Interments All these are on-line databases you can search. delilah evans ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, September 23, 2006 9:19 PM Subject: Re: [ALJEFFER] Using a laptop at the Birmingham library | | In a message dated 9/23/2006 2:17:11 PM Central Standard Time, | [email protected] writes: | | The genealogy room is at the main library?
