I live in Utah and travel up to the library about 4 times a year because I work for the AF and go to Maxwell-Gunter quite often and I've never had a problem. During the week, you have the business crowd walking around the sidewalks and I usually walk across the street and have a hot dog at Sneaky Pete's. Everyone is extremely friendly. Assure your family that you will be fine and the library is just a treasure trove of information - and that is coming from someone who has the Mormon Family History Library only 25 minutes away. what you do at Maxwell - is that Utah, the state, or someplace in Alabama, sorry, kinda of blew my mind, going from Utah to B'ham - anyway, there is supposed to be a set of 3 paintings (Of Eagles) done by Al Carroway hanging someplace at Maxwell, he was commissioned to paint them for the 39th Anniversary of the Air Force, he was a friend of mine and I have a set of the prints - and just this week was the 59th birthday of the Aif Force according to Robins AFB, I would like to know where these painting hang at Maxwell, maybe the museum or the War College - I want to get another set and give them to Robins AFB Museum. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, September 24, 2006 5:07 PM Subject: Re: [ALJEFFER] Using a laptop at the Birmingham library |I live in Utah and travel up to the library about 4 times a year because I work for the AF and go to Maxwell-Gunter quite often and I've never had a problem.
