Blessed Sacrament is located in the West End community of Birmingham. The address for the church is 1460 Pearson Avenue, SW, Birmingham, AL 35211. Someone else may remember better than I, but it seems there was/is some talk of closing the church -- perhaps consolidating with another. I did drive by there about a year ago at the time I was finishing up the book Central Park & A Bit Beyond (includes general area and Birmingham info as well as West End High School) and the church looked to be in good condition and very much as I remember it from years ago. I'm pretty sure I have a photo of it "somewhere." Will look later today and if so, will e-mail it to you. Patricia Crim Dietlein
