    3. I use this service all the time and have never been dissatisfied. To be so far away from a source of information and not able to get there easily, its good to have someone that will. Does anyone know what happened at the Birmingham Genealogy Society meeting this past Sept 23rd, the lady was going to speak on "Pitfals of Adoption Research", would like to know if anyone went and what she had to say. I used to do adoption searches and never had any problem. delilah ----- Original Message ----- From: "caroline" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, September 25, 2006 7:22 AM Subject: [ALJEFFER] Death certs | > There is a website about a person who will copy and send uncertified | death | > certificates for $3 at http://alabamadeath.tripod.com/index.htm I have | > not used their service but have heard from some who have been pleased with | > it. | | Melba | | I've also heard good reports about the above. Suzette Cook is the person | who gets the certs. | | The LDS Family History Center in B'ham, off I-459, has a complete and | permanent set of the microfilmed death certs from 1908 to 1959.
