Is anyone able to find my Martin family listed in any volume of the Jefferson Co. Cemeteries books? This is all the information I have which is very scant. Warren L. Martin married to Ellen Chamblee 16 MAR 1848 in Jefferson Co. AL. I found them on the 1850 census as having only one son, John, age 3 mos. I am trying to get more data from TX descendants of Warren and Ellen but unfortunately they don't have computers so responses will be slow in coming. I was able to obtain the names of Warren and Ellen from a death certificate of one of their sons who migrated to TX around 1900-1908. Should anyone need data on Newton Co. MS cemeteries I have the book would be happy to look up anyone. Lastly, is there a published list of the victims of the Banner Coal Mines explosion. One of our AL Martins is unaccounted for as no one knows anything about him and it occurred to me of the possibility of him being a mine worker. Maxine
