The Lynn-Henley Research Library (which is in downtown Birmingham and connected to the Jeff Co. Library by a bridge over the street) is one of the FINEST genelogical research libraries anywhere! The bottom floor (with more area than many complete libraries have) has books from all over the country. Then on the next floor there is a microlfim room with census records (from most of the country) Newspapers, military records.... You might want to do a search on the net (and let us know here if you find the URL). I bet they have a website that could give you a better idea of exactly what all they have. Have fun. It's WELL worth the trip! Nanc The Early's wrote: > > I have the opportunity to visit the Birmingham Library soon. Do they have > a genealogical section? Is it worth the trip?
