Mitchell. No wills listed for any Riggs or variations of that surname for Rowan Co., NC. Surname Ricks in Abstracts of NC Wills for Chowan Co, NC and there were Ricks early on in AL. Think the name might have been changed from Ricks at some point? Just an idea. Barry Jernigan
