Charlotte, The Historical Atlas of Alabama published bu the Uof AL lists two Bellview Cemeteries. One says that it was Bellview Baptist Church and the cemetery is known as Kimbrell Cemetery established around 1915 and 1st burial was WM Hassell , buried in 1923. The cemetery is still in use The other one is known as Brighton Cemetery established around 1908. First burial was 1909 and the cemetery is still in use. My great grandmother died in 1910 in East Lake and her funeral was handled by Vice Funeral Home. She was buried in what was called Bellview Cemetery but I have never been able to locate just exactly where it was. One of my mother's cousins drove with me once before she passed away to where she thought she remembered going to the funeral when she was young but we never found any sign of a cemetery. We had also gotten the address from a 1910 Birmingham City Directory and it was a residential area. It was in the area that she remembered but there was no cemetery to be found. All the houses in the area looked to have been built in the early 1900's up to maybe 1930 time frame.
