They may be intermingled with other families There are Jones on the 1876 Personal Assessment Roll in Tishomingo and there is a Irwin Searcy in the same book. There are Jones also in the Alcorn book but no Freeman Jones. There are also Searcy' s in the Alcorn book 5 different pages. There are 2 Searcys on the 1900 Census and Many Jones. I am in the middle of a project for my Grand daughters Water Polo Team. Send me your snail mail address and I will make copies of anything that looks good. I am going to have to give you a little at a time as there are a lot of Jones. No Searcy families BUT This Be something. There is a James K. Lynn wife Frances "Frankie" Homes. James was a prominent Baptist Minster serving in churches in Morgan, Blount and Cullman Counties. His third daughter b. c 1838 married William Search , and had five children, Sarah F, Emily, James William, Martha A, and Robert T. Searcy. Just thought I would send it incase William was William B. Searcy. This does not mean your family wasn't there, it just means no one wrote about them. I have the same problem with several of my families in Blount. But found some of them at the LDS FHC in Salt Lake City in a older Blount Co., Family book.
