    1. Re: [ALJEFFER] Cascade Plunge
    2. I sure didn't know Cascade Plunge was still in existence. I grew up on the western side of town and went to Ensley. It was sort of an understood thing that there was an invisible line that the kids from our side of town didn't cross into and same for the east side. We head about drive-in's "over there" and Cascade Plunge, etc. but we didn't go there. However, I have a memory of one or two events that I think I attended there. I belonged to a city-wide sorority so I did go some places on that side of town. What was the name of the really popular drive-in? I can almost say it. The guy that owned it was an ex-Alabama football player I think. By the way, we hung out at Holiday Beach, Bob Sykes and Duke in Dixieland at the Ensley Armory and the Frost Top across from the fairgrounds. The taboo places further west toward Bessemer were Russells Coffee Shop and Paul's Park and Eat. We could go there...it was sort of neutral, but was mostly considered belonging to the Bessemer contingent. Laura Laura
